We are so excited that the 242 Gathering is starting up again on October 8th. This mid-week gathering will happen on Wednesday nights from Oct. 8th until Nov. 24th. It will include a catered meal, classes for adults, Kids Club (Preschool to Grade 5) and plenty of serving opportunities. We will even have a nursery so your little ones can have somewhere to hang out.
Each night we gather, we will have a catered meal. The meal will cost $8 for adults and $5 for those 12 and under. It will cost a max of $25 per family (immediate family only). There will be a check-in table at the door where you can pay for your meal.
The meal starts at 6:00pm and classes start at 6:30pm. If you would just like to attend the classes, please email joel@rosewoodpark.ca Please sign up below by marking how many individuals from your household will attend each course.
We are very excited to be starting a Conversational English course during our 242 nights! This course will be led by Martina Veneziano and will utilize the Ellii online curriculum as well as opportunities to practice conversational English with others! This course is part of our Community Track.
The Practicing the Way Course features eight sessions of teaching, guided conversation, and spiritual exercises designed to lay a foundation for lifelong apprenticeship to Jesus. This course is part of our Spiritual Formation Track.
Dr. Kelvin Friebel will be coming to teach on the book of Job. This is a great opportunity to have an in-depth look at a very important book of the Bible. This course is part of our Scripture Track.
This year at 242 we have a great serving opportunity for adults and teens to take part in. Our Care Ministry will be prepping and packing lunches for a nearby school. These lunches will be going to kids whose families are unable to pack a lunch for them. This is an incredibly practical way to bless our community and families who are in need. A portion of this time will also include packing up leftovers from the meal so that when others in need in our church or community require some food, we are able to have something to provide them. This will part of our Community Track
Peter Ralph will be leading a prayer group that either walks around the community to pray or spends time at the church praying for the needs of our community. This is part of our Spiritual Formation Track.
